Private Peaceful at British All Winners Festival 2021

Tuesday 15th June 2021

In March 2020 Limitless Academy of Performing Arts took two one-act plays to the Welwyn Garden City Youth Drama Festival.

Private Peaceful, a one man show staring Limitless drama student Kyle Gould took first place at the festival. In second place was another production of ours, coming of age comedy Unlucky For Some, with all seven cast members also being our students.

Kyle Gould's fantastic performance as Tommo in Private Peaceful got high praise from festival adjudicator Chris Jaeger MBE:

"Splendid, terrific, unbelievable performance by this young man. This was an absolute treat and a huge surprise. This is a virtually impossible play to pull off for a young person."

"Just as close to being as good as a professional show."

Winners of the WGC Youth Drama Festival go on to perform at the British All Winners Festival. This year it takes place at The Albany Theatre, Coventry between 18th-24th July 2021.

Private Peaceful will be on Wednesday 21st July 2021, where it will be showcased with two other youth festival winning entries.
