About

Ninety-seven children, women and men lost their lives as a result of the disaster at the FA Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest at Sheffield Wednesday's Hillsborough stadium, on April 15, 1989. Greg was there and he has a magnificent story to tell you. A play by Luke Barnes, Bottleneck is a one man coming-of-age story through the eyes of a young boy growing up on 'The Boot' in Liverpool. Greg kills time causing mischief with his best friend Tom, arguing with Dad and running away from the bizzies, all while waiting for the next big LFC game. Bought to you by award-winning director, Peter Heppelthwaite (The Green Green Grass, Les Miserables), and award-winning actor, Kyle Goold, this new production of Luke Barnes’ touching testimonial to working class life, comes to Royston’s home of live-theatre, ‘The Attic’.
